Activate UTS
Activate UTS is a retail fit-out for the University of Technology Sydney, reworking an existing tenancy into a clear and functional student-facing store. The project involved a complete strip-out and reconfiguration of the space, establishing a layout that improves flow, visibility and day-to-day usability.
The design focuses on simplicity and clarity, with a restrained material palette and considered joinery creating a cohesive retail environment. Display, storage and point-of-sale elements are integrated into a continuous system, allowing the space to feel organised, legible and easy to navigate.
Delivered for a major Sydney institution, the project demonstrates a pragmatic and design-led approach to retail - balancing efficiency with a refined spatial outcome.
